India: A Tale of Two Nations led by Psychopaths

DON'T BELIEVE THE ECONOMIC HYPE

This week unmasks the true nature of domestic policy by the corporates, the mafia/mob, and the corrupt politicians. This is the shot heard across the world. A growing India is growing on the backs of the majority of its poor. The poor are getting poorer while a handful have seen income increases. The poor are seeing less food in their bellies. The poor being attacked by a top down economic policy that is destroying their dignity and way of life. It all goes back to the misery index (stock market indexes) as described by P Sainath.

A growing yet naive and ignorant IT (Information Technology) tech/engineer and FIRE economies on one side, and the rest the economy as agricultural, village, and subsistence based, have seen two different economic policies from the top to bottom government officials. The government politicians (everyone is on the take whether it is the federal, state, or local levels) has instituted a top down policy that gives preference to corporate and mafia interests versus India's poorest citizens who live off the land in the poorest of conditions. On behalf of the corporates and mafia, the corrupted politicians have decided to clear out villages (commit genocide) whose land is desired by corporate mining interests. Such lands contain natural resources and minerals such as bauxite (aluminum).

Ask yourself, why is the government and military invading these lands under the premise that those citizens defending one's lands and interest against an invasion of a central government politically defining poor citizens minding their own business in their own lands as MAO terrorists? The government has named these people Naxalites, Naxals or Naksalvadis.

The red corridor contains natural resources coveted by corporates / corporations.



I say fight back by boycotting products such as aluminum and aluminum products such as foil, pots, pans, kitchen utensils etc. Boycott just like Gandhi did with British cotton and buy alternate products based on steel. The Salt March is in one's hands as citizens selective destroy the corrupt power that feeds off people's purchases.

I believe the greatest progess can be attainted if more people are aware of these concepts. We need to build laws and provide protection against such behavior and personality traits. It's something the Constitution attempted but didn't get to the bottom of.

India: A Terror State vs. Dr. Binayak Sen

India's version of the Patriotic Act

How ironic and upside down! Doublespeak at its finest. Those who commit crimes against the state and its people are in charge to accuse a humanitarian of those exact crimes and then. Then, punishment reserved for those criminals at the highest levels of the State and Enterprise, is doled out to that individual activist who's fighting for everybody's right to exist in a dignified form.

Dr. Binayak Sen gets convicted for life in prison for helping poor people defend their interests against corrupt state and business interests.

It's par for course. The citizens of a state enjoying themselves, ignoring the real task at hand. Innocent activists who get in the way of the psychopathic businessmen and their windfall profits vis-a-vis the exploitation of people's lands are dealt with specifically targeted mind and spiritually destructive punishment such as solitary confinement. There again is that accusation of sedition and crimes against the state.

I sustain that the government can't pass laws that override free speech or life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The case will be appealed to the India's Supreme Court.

Infected with a Poison! Antivirus Action

I GET TO RIP MY HAIR OUT

So I was fixing someone's computer who had gotten a nasty bit of malware/adware on his PC.

The malware is called Antivirus Action and it pops in the browser with the message: Internet Explorer Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer!:



So in the browser, any website I would go to would show that webpage. All the options on it would take me this website where they would sell Antivirus Action, a fake antivirus program:



All the websites I went to said to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or Spybot Search and Destroy and the scan would remove the offending software. Well.. No such luck!

Solution? Finally Dennis F. at this website in the comments section said that he fixed it by downloading ComboFix, and indeed, that is the fix!

Such is the life of a voluntary PC Tech!

School gets in the way. It limits the limitless imagination, possibilities, and desires of a person. I think a person should be home schooled with a really good mentor. The student should be the one doing the discovering while the mentor helps with the possibilities. Self learning is the best learning of all. Don't be a generalist. Be a specialist. Most of the classes in school are junk. Why do I need to know calculus? Why do I need to calculate a mole in calculus? Just tell me what a mole is and I can conceptualize it. I don't need to spending the whole week doing calculations on moles.

Here's my take on the speech in the classroom: In the video, I fast forwarded the teacher and students questions to when Jessica was speaking again. I was annoyed by it. They didn't have much to add to the conversation. And the teacher threw out thes buzz words and terminology to describe things that already happened in the past. I say, look ahead not what's in the rearview mirror!

Leslie Nielson passes away at age 84 from pneumonia complications.

Leslie Nielson's comedy will be sorely missed. I remember laughing like crazy in the movie theater at the hi-jinx in The Naked Gun. I had never run into comedy like that before.

Gentleman Leslie probably created havoc in his hospital room, one can only guess.

The Coca-Cola Case: 3rd world corporate practices

Here's one of Coca-Cola "best practices" to maximize profits: License a local bottler thug that will willy nilly assassinate union leaders with impunity and then pay a measly sum to the workers who eek out living.

Here's one more reason to boycott Coca-Cola: Stealing water from Indian villagers and making their lives miserable.

Wise Shopper Tip: Buy store brands (find a store where it tastes good) instead of Coca-Cola or Pepsi or Nestle. Yes, Pepsi and Nestle (bottled waters) are corporations with business practices just as bad a Coca-Cola. You shouldn't be drinking that high fructose corn syrup present in cola anyways.

Be smarter than the people in this video. It amazes me that people will drink this stuff when they know union leaders are being shot dead. If only their countrymen stood up for them would their country be so much better. The only people to blame is themselves.

Dateline: Wisconsin and Orlando, Florida.

The California marijuana bill lost. Russ Feingold, one of the few stalwarts against FISA and Alan Grayson, outspoken against banks and theFederal Reserve, lost in the elections of 2010 :(. My head hung low when I heard these two Congressmen lost.

Boy, the public shot themselves in the foot. It sucks to fight the bad guys and then be trapled over by the public. It sucks to be sandwiched between the top (democratic party top) and the bottom (uninterested, uneducated, unmotivated, apathetic, short aighted public). No wonder Florida Congressman Robert Wexler resigned early this year.

A Guide to Blindly Voting - 2010 Edition - Part 2

VOTING BY THE SEAT OF MY PANTS

All right, so I should have put in more hours for my research to become familiar with all the local candidates. But having no interest in becoming a political junkie, it's a painful chore. Voting via your dollar is more powerful anyways.

So here's the 80/20 rule applied to elections: Put in 20% of the time and effort you need to put into an election and come out with 80% accuracy on the ballot. It's voting with a blindfold, stabbing in the dark and hitting your target, you get the point. I've done some trolling at the independent / 3rd party websites and I've found out that at the County level, some of these parties have endorsements for the local candidates.

Here is an example. I have no idea who these judges are. But if I go to the Orange County Green Party website, I can click their Endorsements - Final Draft link, download the PDF, and see some of the Judges they endorse or not endorse.

First of all, I apologize for not doing that guide to Yelp this week. I'll have it up as soon as I have some free time in the coming days. So just stay tuned.. Anyways..

Who's got the time and energy to pursue a PhD when everyone's busy working. You can't reseach each and every candidate in each and every race. You've got Governors, Senators, House of Representatives, State Senators, State Treasurer, the city Mayor and Councilmen, the school board, the even Judges. Heck, even if you tried to do the research, there's not a lot of information on candidates in the local races.

Rule of Thumb: When voting without doing extensive research vote with blinders on. It's the perfect strategy that will bring this country out of its doldrums.

HUHHHHHHHHHHHHHH? SAY WHAT???!!!!???

Proceed with great prejudice towards third parties and independents. Pick anyone. ANYONE. Whatever you do, no matter how much you like a guy or gal, DO NOT VOTE Democrat or Republican.

And for those races that have only a Republican or Democrat listed, there's still space for a write-in. I'm writing Tommy Chong. He would seriously make a great candidate. Don't tell me I'm wasting my vote. You wasted your vote on a Republican or Democrat.

The toughest races are the local ones (City, Schools, Judges, etc). There's just not that much info on these folks. I'll google their names tomorrow and see what I come up with. It's like reviews for anything else (restaurants, dentists, shows, etc). Avoid the bad ones and go for the good ones! Worst case, you don't pick the worst ones, best case you pick the best ones.

As for the propositions, the sample ballot got me through 90% of them. The John and Ken website helped solve the other 10%. The only one I disagree with them on (and this shows their naive ideology towards lower taxes in general) is for lower taxes for corporations. The corporations want to clawback the taxes they've paid in the previous years. Well I don't think that's such a good idea. Plus it's not deserved.

Voting on California Propositions:
Proposition 19 - YES - Legalizes Marijuana in California. Makes perfect sense when 60% of drug cartel profits come just from marijuana. That's cutting them off at the pass!

Proposition 20 - YES - Redistrict Congressional Districts. This was tough but the Gerrymandering movie recommends yes to move the some of the power to draw voting districts.

Proposition 21 - NO - $18 Yearly Vehicle License "Surcharge". It's a tax to feed the politicians' coffers! So it's a definite no.

Proposition 22 - YES - Prohibits the State from commingling funds reserved for Transportation, Redevelopment, or Local Government Projects and Services with the General Fund. Shouldn't taxes paid specifically for transportation go towards transportation infrastructure instead of some pet project to give the homeless free apartments to live in?

Proposition 23 - YES - Suspends Implementation of Air Pollution Control Law (AB 32). This law was sourced from fraudulent or disingenuous research and representation. The state hired a guy who had fake qualifications (some PhD or such) and he wrote policy recommendations for the State, and the State pollution board knew they had hired a fake!

Proposition 24 - NO - Repeals Recent Legislation That Would Allow Businesses to Lower Their Tax Liability. Restated: Part of the scheme would allow Corporations to claw back their taxes from previous years. No way! Pay your fair share!

Proposition 25 - NO - Changes voting requirements to pass legislation from Two-Thirds to a Simple Majority for the State Legislature. No way! Keep at 2/3rds so they need 2/3rd to pass higher taxes! Less legislation the better!

Proposition 26 - YES - Some State and Local Fees must pass by 2/3rds vote. Good idea!

Proposition 27 - NO - Rids of State Commission on Redistricting. The movie gerrymandering recommends to keep this 14 member panel with powers to redistrict which will keep the power away from the politicians.

Anyways, more on the local races tomorrow..

PS: I noticed a whole lot more junk mail this year. Must be the free speech corporations kicking in donations. We received huge thick 1ft-1.5ft sheets of paper and brochures in the mail. Best Mexican Food in Orange County - El Taco Sabroso Grill

BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA



Dateline: El Taco Sabroso Grill for Mexican Food the night of 10-24-2010

I usually don't go out of my way to post about restaurants unless they're really, really special. I went to one last night that had really good food (for the price). Ok, it didn't have a super fancy decor. Heck, there was nothing fancy about it. There was just good food made with a lot of attention and elbow grease. The service was very attentive too.

Another negative. It's located in between more traveled streets and harder to get to. The area has a industrial feel to it. Yes, it's downtown Placentia but it's a ghost town at night!

It's the best Mexican food in Placentia and surrounding cities like Fullerton or Yorba Linda. It's a stone's throw from the Cal State Fullerton university. Ok, maybe it's not the best. I'm sure the fancy fusion places that charge $50 for a fancy square plate can beat this, but we're not talking about that. We're talking about $10 combo plates with A LOT of food. Ok, it's not the healthiest or the best ingredients (say organic or local) out there, but I didn't notice any filler ingredients. No fake stuff! Frankly, I don't understand how they stay in business with such low prices. Where's their profit?

I had the chili relleno combination plate with 2 sides: chicken enchilada with green sauce and a hard beef taco. The chicken meat was boiled instead of fried. I liked the chicken enchillada and beef taco more than the chili relleno, even though the chili relleno is much more sophisticated to make. So much for the unsophisticated palate! The chili relleno was still one of the best I had and had what seemed like 1/4 of a cheese block inside! That's a lot of cheese!

It's good to support mom and pops / family run. I sure got a lot more value visiting this place than say a chain like Acapulco or El Torito Grill where they have the decor but not so fresh, fake food.

Well I guess that's it for now... Oh I'll show you guys how to use Yelp.com to find good restaurants (mom and pops and family run ones) in your local area in the next blog entry. I also use Yelp.com to find restaurants when I'm out of town. It's the "keep them honest" tool for locating good food and avoiding the bad.

California State Worker Salaries

A lot of the high up administrators see their salaries almost double from 2008 to 2009! What gives? Here's the whole lot and their salaries posted conveniently on this website. I've linked to the California Highway Patrol specifically.

Some salaries have been reduced by about 10% from 2008 to 2009 as they should be but they are still very high! Cut some more! There's no way a government worker should be paid more than a private employee. There's a serious imbalance in the economy!

Ashis Nandy: The Culture of Political Dissent

I'll link directly to the Disquiet Reservations blog entry which is where I watched these videos of Ashis Nandy.

Here's some points that I found in his speech that I agree with or want to expand on:
1) Examples such as the Bush war(s) came with justifications for doing bad things such as killing a million people. Same thing with Obama, torture, and drone bombings.
2) Those subjects that happen to be underprivileged, exposed, or are in a condition where it's hard for them to resist or defeat their opposition know that their own lives can be improved because they see it happening with the privileged. The problem is society and the privileged do not want to help.
3) It is ideas that cannot be defeated by the military, aggressions, or power. And when the idea comes, there is change and revolt.

Here is Nero's Guests, the film that gives us a look first hand at farmers and farmer suicides in rural India. The film stars journalist P. Sainath. The wonderful Director, Deepa Bhatia, spent her free/evening time putting together this touching film. She is a film editor for big Bollywood film productions and she was given permission by the studio to use their available equipment to make this film.

I've arranged all of the 9 parts into a single watchable playlist.

After viewing this film you WILL pay higher prices and shop at farmer's markets. Buy
food from people, not corporations. The economy can only work when money flow is balanced and supports all livelihoods. If you support a small farmer, the money can't be used for nefarious purposes. No corrupting the politicians. No subsidies. No market rigging and monopolies. Plus there's an excellence source of high quality food available. No cutting corners! Do business with those that have integrity and passion. The most important thing to have is good food and to have a sustainable food supply that is in equilibrium.

What you see in this applies to all people and all farmers everywhere around the world. There will be poverty if the economy is not run with brains, equity, and fairness. Take America as an example. When there is a dysfunctional economic system, all people suffer, but those that the bottom suffer the most. Just how many farmers lost their livelihoods during the Great Depression? Crops and milk were disposed of because people had no money to buy them! People starved that weren't starving before. There are more poor people (people making $1 or less per day) in this world than rich people. The system needs to target the needs of the majority, not the wants and greed of the rich. The impoverished people are at the end of their wits but do not know the source of their misery. The impoverished do not know about the people behind the scenes driving the impoverishing policies. The system created makes the rich richer and keeps everyone in their place.

The politicians or government are not the problem. It's not even corporations who should be blamed. It's us, the people. Poverty and begging in the street occur when the economic system doesn't consider everyone's well being. When everything runs on the lowest price, there is a lot of slavery and fraud that takes place because the well being of the workers that produced the items is not taken into consideration. Of course, if something costs less, corners were cut somewhere. That somewhere is dignified working conditions. Ask yourself why prices have been coming down on good like clothing. The conditions are worse now for garment workers than before. Remember, consider other factors than just the price of an item when shopping!

People willingly give away their money to large unidentifiable institutions. Who runs these big private corporations? Are they benevolent people? Should we be doing business with them just to save 5-20%? What is the corporation to do if people feed them money for their practices? What are the politicians supposed to do? Stop people from freely spending money as they please? Look at it this way. You are fully in control. That pound of food you just bought from the grocery store chain is one pound less that a subsidence farmer was able to profit from. That large corporation saves you money because it strong arms the producer into a low selling price. Now you know why these farmers can't sell at a price that they can live on. It is only a difference of 10% in price is a matter of life and death for subsistence farmers.

There's another aspect of the current economic system that needs to be pointed out. The urban areas feed off the rural areas. The real work and resources happen to be in rural areas. These resources get bought by the urban areas where there is wealth created through financial paper. There's a financial civil war going on for resources and control and the urbanites are the instigators. It's a scam. It's fixed. The resources are distributed to "city slickers". Credit is freely available in the urban areas. The educated, high paying, high skilled jobs are involved with building massive infrastructures and systems that distribute resources from those less fortunate to those well off in the urban areas. Finance flows to fund large, inefficient production, even if when it's lower quality. Mediocrity flourishes, life of bounty ceases to exist. Just look at McDonalds. Why does it even exist? McDonalds is about large infrastructure and low quality. If there were health standards that were enforced, McDonalds would no longer be able to sell unsafe, unhealthy, and nutritious-less foods. The rich can only be rich though these large infrastructure scams. They try to convince everyone to buy into their scam so they can redistribute wealth to themselves. They keep revolutions from happening by dropping enough crumbs from their dinner tables so the rest of the people can consume some of their own productivity.

How is it that productive land that wants to be farmed lies fallow? How is it a person cannot work their land to produce for the well being of others and provide for their family? How is it possible a crop cannot be sold at a price where this is practicable? Let's get rid of the middleman that eat up most of the profits in the supply chain. Let's tie the end consumer to the producer much closer. It's more efficient. It's more human. The internet is a great tool that should shrink the supply chain much more than what it is now.

When those stock options were sold by that corporate executive, that money came from somewhere. The money came from those lower than him on the pyramid. It came from your pockets! After all, what did that executive actually produce? So suddenly this billion exists out of nowhere. This billion did not exist before and now suddenly does. It diminishes the value of the money that already exists, like the money in your bank account. Imagine the inflation a billion dollar creates as assets are bought. You get left out of the economy with that paltry sum in your bank account. How many assets can you buy with your bank account? And yes, that executive is happy when prices go up because he is invested at a lower price. That executive will encourage inflation as he buys assets at ever inflating prices. Furthermore, that executive's billion compared to the measly money sitting in your bank account devalues your wealth, and thusly, your quality of life. You lose economic power and control. Suddenly, someone else has more power and control. No one deserve that much power and control that a billion can bring.

It's a game of musical chairs. It's only a game. The pschopathy is right in front of you. It's up to you to change.

You betcha the recent Bollywood Hindi film, Peepli Live, was based on this film! There's a lot of scenes and situations that feel similiar with those featured in Nero's Guests. The media and politicians invading the village is one such scene / situation.

In the film, crore (pronounced car-roar) = 1/4 million US dollars.

Here's Manfred Max-Neef, a Chilean economist, on understanding economics and how the majority of people fail in this aspect. Knowing something and understanding something are two different concepts.

I think what's also key is intent of a person. Have we passed that critical mass where people value material consumption over human relations and life? The knowledge is there. People can't be that dumb to not know what's going on. War is supported because it props up the dollar and keeps oil out of the hands of the Chinese. Why are the current politicians and business leaders still supported? It's not because of ignorance. And why is when people point out that Bush lied, the bailout was a scam, the corporations are the puppetmasters, that the people pointing it out are treated as heretics?

AROUND AND AROUND SHE GOES, WHERE SHE STOPS, NOBODY KNOWS

I got this off the Disquiet Reservations Blog today, 09-24-2010.

It's Fatima Bhutto interviewing with Democracy Now! about what she knows about the inside politics of Pakistan. She also speaks about the Pakistani government ignoring the flood and the flood victims and even punishing those that go to help.

But even more important than that is the glimpse she gives on why there's always dictators arising in Pakistan. Surprise, surprise, it's the American shadow government involved that keeps financing these psychopathic tyrannies. And it's the same around the world, not just Pakistan.

The rest of the world bears the burden of the American Empire. Well, now you know the mechanism that creates the 3rd world and keeps it as 3rd world.

This same mechanism is closing in on itself. If things keep going as they are, eventually, we'll see beggers in the streets of the United States, just as there are in the 3rd world. It only takes 10% of the people to make a difference...

It's been a wonderful 20th century and even a more wonderful 21st. The 21st century is turning out to be the century of dictators and tyranny.

At the core is a senseless pursuit of collecting money. I've noticed this since grade school. The classmates I was with valued acquiring money and possessions more than human relations and ethics. It got worse in high school, as a portion of fellow students started shows signs of psychopathy, and practiced methods of suppression, social propaganda, physical and mental bullying, taunting, and control. The ones to worry about were the "smarter" or the more "intelligent" ones who got the best grades and high SAT scores. These grades would give them access to the best schools and to jobs in high positions later in life. It was a master plan of career and life that was concocted by them and pursued.

So here we are in a mess... Wall Street bankers, investment brokers, dealers, and traders, Presidents and Deans of Universities, Executives of Corporations, politicans, government high positions, lawyers, and even doctors! Remember the object of the game is money, power, and control. Why do the masses allow these people to do what they do? These people are dangerous. They're easily spotted through their thoughts and behavior. Why not point them out and neutralize them? Be scared of these people, just as one is scared of a free roaming lion that's nearby. They are a real threat and menace to the well being of society.

Farmer Percy Schmeiser on Democracy Now!

Here's a song appropriate for the anniversary of 9/11 and all the hatred and self destruction that came out of it.

Pakistan has taken control of the western part of the disputed territory. China has encroached from the north and east. The question remains. What defines Kashmir and do Kashmiris want to become independent or remain part of India?

James Hatfield interview with Democracy Now! released 08-11-2003

The previously censored interview of James Hatfield (J. H. Hatfield), the author of Fortunate Son: George W. Bush and the Making of an American President, was finally released by Democracy Now! on 08-11-2003. It is a book that is a biography of George W. Bush that looks into some of the skeletons hiding in the closet.

Imagine that! Democracy Now! censoring on of its guests!

The original interview was originally conducted in early 2000. The book had trouble being released due to a criminal conviction in James's past. His credibility was shot and this took a serious toll on his finances and career as an investigative journalist. I bet the Bush folks were giddy over this. James Hatfield allegedly committed suicide in July 2001. How come everyone that tries to fight or expose the Bush family always suffers and pays a hefty price?

A speech where there's concern about everyone? Such idealism! If only human nature was so!

Was it Charlie Chaplin's warning, prediction, or just fiction existing only on movie script paper? As time passes, the more things change, the more they remain the same! Looks like people had the same problem with money and material things back then too. And boy it did make itself apparent in the 1930s and 1940s! Lessons learned, lessons lost.

Where are your donations going?

Ok so you're barely making it paying your bills. Or you're saving up your money a little bit every month... And you want to give someone else a helping hand to someone less unfortunate so you donate some of your hard earned money...

Well it ends up in pockets that you don't expect to go into. You're financing someone's lavish lifestyle that most likely includes a nice luxury car, fine dining, fancy clothes, and a nice golden parachute retirement package.

I guess the organization is "nonprofit" after the executives take off the cream of the top. They don't tell you the fine print when you donate, do they?
